Emergency situations, prevention and protection

• enforcement and compliance with the legislation and regulations of the directorate in the field of occupational safety and health and emergencies;
• ensuring occupational safety conditions and preventing emergencies;
• ensuring the training of RATEN ICN employees in the field of occupational safety and health and emergencies;
• control of fire protection activity;
• emergency intervention.

Activities

• application in RATEN ICN of the legislation and regulations specific to the activities it carries out;
• controls the compliance of RATEN ICN to specific norms in the field of safety and health at work and proposes operative measures including proposals of sanction until the elimination of the non-conformities with the observance of the provisions of the status of the directorate;
• coordinates activities to identify and assess risks in the workplace, including establishing measures to eliminate or reduce them;
• proposes to the director of RATEN ICN, after informing the heads of the respective departments, the cessation of the activity at the workplaces, installations, equipment and other cases, when there is an imminent danger of injury and seeks the operative remedy of the deficiencies;
• apply unconditionally and in a timely manner the measures ordered by the analysis and control bodies;
• endorses the commissioning of the objectives, installations, equipment that achieve the state of safety and health at work;
• proposes research and design topics to eliminate the risks identified and assessed during the activities, not solved by the initial conception;
• pursues the endowment with personal protective equipment and its use according to the legal requirements;
• follows the observance of the technologies or instructions for the use or operation of the machines, installations, etc., as they were designed;
• aims at maintaining in operation and implementation the solutions adopted within the integrated and collective protection;
• proposes amendments or additions to occupational safety and health instructions;
• ensures the elaboration, correctness and sufficiency of specific internal instructions;
• seeks to carry out the training established by the regulations in force;
• ensures specific propaganda in the field of occupational safety and health;
• periodically analyzes the activity in the field of occupational safety and health;;
• endorses the commissioning of the objectives, installations, equipment that achieve the state of safety and health at work;
• monitors the maintenance and repair of alarms, fire alarms and extinguishing systems on the RATEN ICN platform;
• coordinates the activities for the knowledge and observance of the Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Norms;
• performs checks on the application of the Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Rules, makes proposals for the elimination of the found irregularities and seeks their operative resolution.
• organizes with efficiency the activities for extinguishing fires, rescuing people and material goods that are in danger in case of fire or natural disasters or catastrophes;
• organizes actions for flood protection, drainage of basements, technological canals and other vital points of RATEN ICN;
• participates in the removal and removal of damage caused by natural disasters or disasters;
• complies with the service contract between RATEN ICN, FCN and ANDR for fire prevention and extinguishing.
